Different pagination?

So i dislike the "next page" etc buttons and would rather have something like this but haven't found any good resources that explain how to do it without all the page numbers manually being written which is not a option for me. Does anyone have a simple tutorial to follow?

No, and from V3.12.0 that has been completely changed. From that version the listing method will change to "seek pagination" which highly improves listing performance.

I suggest you to stop worrying about little stuff like this and focus on raw performance.
