deleting of users not working

when trying to delete user it gives this error:
An error occurred. Please try again later.

also user who is using social account cant be changed to banned status..as no email address linked
and it says email already in use..

Delete users works fine for me in the demo. Make sure that everything is up to date, also... try enabling debug_level = 3 so you can get the reason why that is happening.

I will check it out.
 
I can confirm the 2nd issue. You can't ban someone who has no email ID. Often, I simply add random gibrish email ID to ban someone who registered with social network.
 
I've fixed the 2nd issue and it will be included in the next release. At the present time I've been unable to reproduce the 1st incident reported by OP.
