Deleting Exif increases image size (MB)

I already talked about this in this topic. But it still happens even when using ImageMagick.

Some images take up more MB space than expected.

It even ends up being larger than the imposed upload limit. (In my case I have a limit of 2.5MB and after uploading it is 3.1MB).

Unfortunately exif removal with no re-compression is not something supported by ImageMagick neither GD. http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10895

To achieve what you need it requires to use another tool for the job, possibly ExifTool. You could open an RFC requesting support for this kind of functionality.
