Like in many Forums i found, that also in my Chevereto the number of "spam registrations" starts to increase a lot.

I think a feature would be usefull, that automaticaly deletes users, when they have zero uploads / comments and are more than X month old.

Well, make sure that the recaptcha threshold is set too zero and that you are using the new recaptcha.

In demo.chevereto.com I have zero spam accounts (bots).

Here is an example - https://www.ezphotoshare.com/chcdirect

That account just became active in the last 24 hours.

Recaptcha is set to a threshold of "0" and has been enabled for nearly a year now.

Most scam accounts won't be bots and if you notice this account has images into it. It is very hard or almost impossible to write an algorithm that can throw if that account is spam or not only based in how many images this person uploads.

Is easy if the profile has a description, url and no images. But if this user has images is very hard to detect the spaminess of any account. You need to analyze the content uploaded, presence of some words, etc.

I think that is a problem that must be addressed but I don't see how to auto detect those.

Related to this thread, I am interested how to easily clean stupid bot registrations. Before I changed the recaptcha settings I got a bunch of those. They are stupid, because they never verified themselves by mail.

What kind of SQL trick should be made to sweep them out the database?

Also an option would be nice to flush out all user that are older than X month and never did any action like upload a picture or comment or anything.
