Hey guys, the survey has already enough answers so is time to discuss it.
From looking at the results from your poll I strongly agree that documentation is something you probably need to concentrate on more rather than concentrating on adding more additional new features first Rodolfo.
A good script with many features does need good user guides, FAQ's and a good readable guide on how to update, just as it needs technical advice given in simple words for new users to understand rather than advice of
remove or change code in X file as many won't even know where x file is let alone what string of code to remove or change.
When I used to be involved in
Free phpBB forums I designed a sub forum in the support forum with a FAQ's topic and individual user guides to all the added phpBB mods that we added so members could read it and learn for themselves, although you do have the FAQ's and a guides and how to section they are more user based questions/topic starters rather than your own topics explaining what each function/feature does, the sections are not really good for new members wanting to find things out as the questions asked may not explain things fully.
Community also features high on a worst feature, I totally agree that is something that needs addressing especially after our previous heated discussions that did not help with some regulars within the community intervening, not only could I not put concerns across to you as the developer/owner I felt the community made matters far worse than they should of been and I seemed to lose track of my initial concerns which made my concerns fruitless.
(just so you know I have collected evidence for you to see, and will PM that later if your interested)
I am not surprised to see new features high up as a worse thing, like I have said you do have two types of users for the script and unfortunately as I see it you are only pleasing the one type and not the other, I am assuming from the poll there is a good % who want a more simple script rather than your explanation Rodolfo, as I see it you add new features regularly so no one should ever say your not adding enough.
Interesting that new features comes in high for the good things, at about the same % as the bad things, again I think two types of user here wanting different things in the script.
I know you have said you won't do a second simpler version of the script and I won't even ask for it but I think from reading those polls it is needed, not only for existing customers but also future ones too.
