🎉 In less than one week 28% of eligible customers have redeemed the free V4 license! This is outstanding if we consider the raw "as-is" status of the V4.0.0.beta.1 release. Did you claimed already? 😅 Being honest I would be impressed if someone managed to run it as the lack of documentation and servicing have turned this release in an oddity to get it running.
👉 We know that existing customers are eager to try out V4 and start testing it... But we believe that before asking for any upgrade fee we must work in the documentation and the servicing layer required for a neat experience. 🤗 We have been busy updating chevereto.com/api to work with both V3 and V4 delivery, improved the Installer, the software supply system, and prepared a new payment gateway. It's been a fun week.
🤓 Today I will start working in the documentation for V4, with a special focus in how-to run the beta and get the most out of it. This should be available soon as tech docs are written already... Is just that it lacks the step-by-step beginner instructions.
