Change URLs for /image/ and /album/

Hey,

I want to change /image/ to /i/ and /album/ to /a/. Just the URLs, but unsure if there's an easy way to do this or not.

Searched and found one thread with a similar idea but no solid solution (the only one given doesn't work).

Thanks!

Ugh :(

Guess I'm wondering if the links are via variable and if I can change that (and routing) to make it work. I'm not shy to messing with PHP and template stuff, just not fully sure how the framework is structured to easily figure it out. So, thought I'd ask here to save some time.

You can easily map the routes from /image to /i or /album to /a, problem is that the URLs are referenced as /image and /album everywhere.

And I take it that's not via variable but actually hard coded in?

Hmmm, I could make /image redirect to /i and /album to /a for that linking issue. Weird, but would work.

Just feel the /i and /a helps the URL be less verbose. Not a requirement since most social sites use their own shorteners, but good for the ones that don't. Sorta brandy.

I will always prefer more "SEO" URLs like /image instead of /i or /album instead of /a. Not only because of SEO but because in the URL you are describing what you are seeing.
