Can you update version V3 with latest php?

Since we see lot of changes in V4 version and one of changed things is meta description.

Before was Image girl with red eyes hosted in images.com
And now we have example 1120X60 PNG Uploaded 1 year ago

Can you update V3 to latest php to we can use with old meta description for search engines?
