Can we customize the random link generator?

No, you can't. Also, that string is not random and is encrypted.
 
No, it can't be made via custom work and due to the large number of URLs generated is unpractical to have friendly URLs like those. Your DB indexes will be huge!

Best that I can do is to add something like this:

http://www.domain.com/PickleWalletPhone.<ID>

In any case, you have to request such feature and only if other users support your idea I can add that feature. I don't sell custom development for Chevereto, all features are available to everybody.
