Are developers allowed to sell their "modifications" to Chevereto?

Hey Rodolfo, quick question. I'm hiring someone to do a feature for my website, that is highly requested by my users. If successful and it implements well, I foresee my website's growth growing by 400% per month for the next several months. It is the #1 requested feature to Imgur, Imageshack, Photobucket, and more. It seems to be easy to do with how you have the database setup.

To help encourage a developer to keep their price down to me, can I offer the fact they can sell the modification? Or do modifications have to be either private or if released, free released?

Thank you :D

You already declined the feature. So I'm going to get it developed as a custom implementation. I am just wondering, in the current terms of Chevereto, is the developer allowed to sell a "mod" that works for Chevereto? Like how IPB/Vbulletin/XenForo does?

In that case then read this: https://chevereto.com/license

Basically, you can't re-sell any derivative work (something like a brand new custom edition) but of course that someone can sell a mod or something if that doesn't include licensed code.
