apple-touch-icon causing needless errorlog spam

So I get this is more on the part of Apple making hits for files that don't exist on their devices, but since the apple-touch-icon is using the favicon it is spaming the cpanel error log when Apple users browse images. Only solution would seem to be is to create apple-touch-icon.png in the root directory.

Can we get future versions to create any uploaded favicons to also clone themselves to the equal apple-touch-icon.png as well in the root?
