API user upload workaround Not working

Im following the guide on https://chevereto.com/docs/api-v1 but the route doesnt seem to be overriding. Is this not working as intended?

Is it also possible to specific the albums to upload to along with the user?

Figured out how to add api uploads to a specific album. Now just need to figure out why the route override doesnt work.

Once it works, its possible to manually add multiple api users.

Created a file called route.myapi.php under /app/routes/overrides. route.myapi.php contains the same stuff as route.api.php with a couple lines edited.

Exactly like the instructions said.

Just tested the override stuff and is working fine.

Most likely you are not overriding the route, but adding another one under a different virtual folder.

Override works if the files is the same name, however the documentation didnt specify this. The documentation says "Copy the default app/routes/route.api.php file to something like app/routes/overrides/route.myapi.php folder. We will do our job in this new route.myapi.php file"
