I suggest to add feature only for Admin Panel, like Online Users with list or just digital counter beside Stats. Look at screenshot.

How is this helpful for a site when it's mostly non-person-to-person interaction? Can you explain what use this is?
 
Which is the benefit that you will get knowing which users are online? Even in this forum I've that functionality and honestly I never use it so I can't figure out why you need it.

Is is just because it looks good?

Could you elaborate how this could benefit the overall system? Because if I want to get real online stats I just pop up Google Analytics and done.

But he is asking the feature for admin, that is not crawlable.
