Canon camera photos do not have EXIF

I have tried uploading an image from my phone and EXIF still shows, Along with other users of my site that use Nikon cameras.
Whereas the images from Canon's 1200D, M50 or 77D do not display EXIF.

EXIF is not disabled.
The EXIF data is also not shown in the database at all.
The images stored on the server have EXIF data also, So it's not getting lost along the way.


You're welcome to a test account if you want it, It doesn't seem to be anything to do with my user.

Bug confirmed, I will patch it in the next revision. The patch is already applied in the demo, here: https://demo.chevereto.com/i/img-0861.7aw

Note: the problem is not related to a camera maker, but the unrecognizable exif strings encoding (user comments for instance).

Any chance of an EXIF regenerator? (similar to the thumbnail one)
