When adding a new photo THERE ARE NO TAGS

Hello, another question. I've just updated to 4.2 and there are TAGS!! Finally. But... when adding a new photo to the gallery, you can choose a category but there is currently no easy and intuitive ADDING A TAG!!! To add tags, the user must click on the photo. Or then edit it in the gallery. No one will do that and the whole idea of adding tags has just died. I am very disappointed with this solution. I still hope that it can be changed / set somewhere?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I understand that adding tags directly during upload would improve the experience, and it’s certainly something I can add to the main upload form. Just to clarify, Chevereto's development is user-driven, meaning features evolve based on community feedback. The RFC section is there to capture these ideas, and improvements often come over time.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

yes I fixed a few things in the translation to Polish because there were a few translation sections missing, for example the one above in the picture. I can send you this fixed translation file "pl.po"

In the "semantics" configuration section there should be "Tags" so that they can be translated into words more suitable for other languages.

Hi, I think you're right it should be possible directly!
You should create an RFC so we can vote for it 😉
