Very Slow FileZilla and site loading

Hi, I'm currently hosted with Arvixe, but it seems like my filezilla and actual website is very slow to me only.
I've asked a few people to test the speed, and they say it loads instantly.

What could be the problem here.
 
Yeah switching to that is a bit better, but I have another site using filezilla to manage files and it's pretty quick.

And do you know the problem why when I view my site, it's very slow?
 
You should know that network issues can happen in any part of the whole thing. Maybe the problem is that your internet is slow and to test that shou should test your website speed using something like this: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ if that says "your site is fast" then the issue is at your end.
 
I don't think it's my internet since it's very quick on other sites.

Arvixe is not a option for Image Hosting service, because you will be hosted on shared server with many other users who share the same server and network speed, but for small websites/forums, indeed they are good, but if you want to have best results with Arvixe, then go for VPS hosting, i had the same issue, and then i switched to VPS hosting. I wont spread some bad words about Arvixe, they have really strong servers, but at least to share the same performance with 100 other people on same machine, thats not good at least, so try VPS.
But as Rodolfo alrdy said, the network issues can happen in any part of the whole thing, maybe the problem is your internet provider, and not Arvixe.
 
I've just talked to Arvixe support, he told me to contact the website developer and optimize the website

I strongly disagree. OVH servers are like in a barn in Spain or something like that, one time I had issues with a 30GB database because the disk crashed and in OVH you need to pay extra for everything and for 2 euro they just give you one weekly backup so we lost a complete week.
 
Most likely you had some small issue because your website now loads extremely fast.

Yes, is slow now. That is odd when I tested it was pretty fast. Maybe someone is abusing your website. Anyway, I talked with Arvixe and they are working in your issue.

Yes, there's intervals when it's quick, but that lasts for a few page loads and it's back to the slow speed.
And maybe, but I don't see who would, I haven't told anyone it, and it was slow when I first got the site.
But thanks for talking to Arvixe, hope it gets fixed soon.
