V3 install issues

I installed v3.20.15 and the install fails. The page doesn't load and when I pull up the error log it tells me there is an unexpected syntax on load.php line 214. When I look at the code the unexpected syntax is a ) that appears to be part of the code. Would this cause the installer not to load?
 
To get a syntax issue in V3 it means that you aren't running php 7.4.
 
I already found the problem. I was on php 7.4, I just wasn't on the right 7.4. It was set to ea-php7.4 and it should have been alt-php7.4
