Nope, it doesn't. By the way where did you got that quote? I have never stated that is compatible with OpenStack.

Edit: Noticed that they say that.

I don't think that the S3 API will work 1:1 with that thing because Amazon harcode the regions and stuff like that. Most likely they mean that the API is very similar in the way you use it.

Anyway, OpenStack is not yet supported.
