Topic largely explains it. Did an upgrade, it asked for my license key in the terminal, to which I provided (I think, no text showed up) and then after completion everything was locked under $Pro. I read the docs about how the two-tier system is coming, but I should still have the license. Something I can do here?

Licensing exists only at API interaction layer (when you download the software). If you don't provide a license then it fallback to free edition which is likely what happened here.
