Upgraded to 3.8.1 and getting an SQL error when scrolling down on categories

Things work fine on Explore -> All but if I choose a category and scroll down to the second page (using the javascript lazy load paging, not page numbers) I get an error (attached).

Also I noticed that when I choose a specific category the results are mixed (images from other categories are included in the listing).

The only modification I've done as far as customization/edits go is I have a custom route for
app/routes/overrides/route.api.php but that shouldn't matter here.

Make sure that the system is properly updated and flush any server side cache.
 
The only cache related files I see are in app/content/languages/cache/. I copied the folder to a safe location and deleted the contents of it. One file got put back called (en.po.cache.php) so far but the problem still persists. I noticed just now that it only occurs when I'm using the administrator account. If I browse anonymously there's a row of empty images at the top of the listing page but no SQL error when I scroll down.

Also the NSFW flag seems to be disregarded. Non-logged in users should not be seeing NSFW content but they are. I've confirmed that the show NSFW content in listings is disabled still.

I've noticed two bugs in the release and I just patched your website. Please check and if everything goes OK I will ship this patches as a new release today.
