Description of the issue
Hi,
I have problems to update my website. The automatic update function gives me the error 'Can't write into root / path' while all directories on the webserver in the script path have '777' rights.
When I try to install an newer version manually (i.e. 3.9.0.) it always comes the message 'Chevereto has been successfully updated to 3.8.8'.
What is going wrong? What can I do?

Make sure that php can write in all folders. Otherwise issue a manual update.
