Three questions about how chevereto works

Hello dear users and author

1. Is it possible to force the user to specify the category of the photo when uploading files? I would like this to be a critical condition in my gallery, without it it loses its meaning.

2. How can I change the content of the activation email sent to the user when creating an account (add some key information to the content)?

3. After the user uploads a large photo, does chevereto store the original after resizing or delete it. I do not want my chevereto to store the original large files that burden the server.

Thank you for your message.

Currently, it is not possible to force users to specify a category when uploading files. However, I've created an RFC to track the implementation of this feature. You can follow the progress there.

To change the content of the activation email, edit the email template located at content/legacy/themes/Peafowl/mails.

When you upload an image and configure it to resize, Chevereto will take the source image, apply the transformation, save the transformed image, and delete the original source file.

Hope it helps!
