Hi. ๐Ÿ™‚

I've just did clean install of the latest chevereto (3.6.8 at this time) everything looks fine except the upload process ๐Ÿ™‚

The images get usually stuck on 3-4% and I can only see:

๐Ÿ™ Sometimes it completes the process but most of the times its stuck... ;( you may test it here: http://pichost.name/

Is all about your server/ISP. I had no issues uploading pictures but it was extremely slow.

Thank you for the quick reply ๐Ÿ™‚

(Un)fortunately im my own ISP and the actual upload its not that time consuming. I think the problem is the queue somehow because almost all my uploads are stuck on 3% and with multiple images if the first one gets uploaded, the second then fail stuck on 3 or 5%

Im using ubuntu 14 lts up to date with php 5.5.9 with ISPconfig3 which uses openbasedir, suphp (i tried switching to php-fpm.. no luck) and switching suexec on and off, elevated max upload size etc - basically the same vhost im using for years with chevereto 2.5 :/

Update1: Im certain that the issue is related somehow to EXIF.

I tried with some pictures from my phone and then made a copy of it without the camera information and its seems better without exif ๐Ÿ™‚ maybe thats why your tests are successful.

I tried switching on and off remove/keep EXIF from the settings but i still get the same behaviour. Its odd how I cannot see anything in any log.

Update2: I tried with http://demo.chevereto.com/ and Im experience the same issue (with latest firefox and chrome)

Uploaded a bunch of pictures, no issues (still slow). I strongly suggest you to review your systems.

Could you please try downloading this picture:

and upload it to demo.chevereto.net

fail for me every time with chrome, firefox on windows and chromium on linux. When i try to remove the EXIF information its uploaded fine (even a bit slow at first) I cant figure out what could be wrong with this file...

Thank you. I think i get the "Duplicate upload" error after like 5 mins of waiting. Unfortunately it still happens on some unique pictures :/

(my hosts are kinda fast for me but still i have to wait for some strange reason for the error to come out even i do not have high cpu and io on the server. Also I think south america is like 300 ping away from here and i have like 1Mbit international at this moment. anyway)

Where are you hosted and where is your main audience located?

Where are you hosted and where is your main audience located?

Im from Bulgaria, and my clients are mostly from around here, so basically i have near-local speed to the machine and relatively good speed to demo.chevereto so i dont think network speed is the main issue here. I did some test with these nice pictures made 20 km away from my place ๐Ÿ™‚

i made sure there arent any duplicates at first test:

http://mc.deflax.net/test1.png

and this time i tried to reupload them to force Duplicate error:

http://mc.deflax.net/test2.png

Basically that json POST is stalled on 3% most of the time and has different behaviour. the second test was successful - it gave 400 bad request with duplicate uploaded error as it should be i guess, but still with high request sent times. So when the actuall upload begins its fine but this pre-upload time I cant explain yet ๐Ÿ™‚
