syntax error

It's been a while since I used chevereto, (when I was using it my host went south and I lost all my files)
It looks like since I last used it it's massively improved. Kudos, I look forward to using it.

I just uploaded the latest version, when going to the site (QuImage.com) I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/quimage/public_html/app/loader.php on line 117

Any ideas? I searched the forums and couldn't find a solid answer. Here is the server details:
Apache version2.2.27
PHP version5.3.28
MySQL version5.5.32-cll

Any help would be great, thanks!
