When the user rank system is added for monetary user groups (which I believe is planned) one feature I'd like to see is a "external storage server" that can be assigned to that specailized group.

For example I could have a group for Australians that have a specialized server node to upload in Australia with a CDN that focuses in Australia.

I could have a special node for testing / or staff only.

I could have a node with no CDN and slow loading images. A node for fast loading images.

Usually file download sites have the "download from our faster" server thing. But an image host? This is kind of unheard of and a new path that can be done. These can be a less congested server, a special subdomain, something. These could have more powerful CDNs.

Good suggestion. We could assign paying users to one storage server and CND for better performance.
