V3 will bundle recaptcha to avoid spam in all the forms.

mmm - but the problem exists right now... and V3 has no release date till now :-(

So, no one has a quick solution for this at the moment?

I am using another free anti-spam solution on my installation of Chevereto.
If you don't mind using something else than ReCAPTCHA, let me know.
 
I use KeyPic as I hate CAPTCHA images.
  1. Download the latest KeyPic library from here and put it on your contact.php directory.
  2. Apply this diff file to your contact.php (take backup first, I am not responsible if the universe explodes).
  3. Follow the instructions inside your new contact.php on how to obtain a KeyPic token and insert it in.
Should be ready to go.
