My chevereto was deleted and therefore i had to restore it from backups. Most of everything is there but there are some posts that when inspected say "image src unknown" when the image is fully available on the server. Is there anyway to get it to refresh this so it properly displays the urls?

▶🚶‍Reproduction steps
  1. Backups were made earlier (zipped the files)
  2. Extracted them using unzip on centos 7
  3. Go to a image that isnt working, image src says "unknown"
  4. On a image that is working it will display the right link
😢Unexpected result

Image src unknown instead of the link

Hi,

Most of everything is there but there are some posts that when inspected say "image src unknown" when the image is fully available on the server.

Chevereto doesn't serve those resources (.jpg files), is that what is not working? I'm sorry to ask, but I don't understand what is exactly failing, and you are assuming that all the elements of the stack are handled by Chevereto.

Please, be specific.

I just said .jpg to keep it short but it caused even more confusion, sorry about that.

To be clear, Chevereto doesn't serve any of the hosted images.

Ah your message updated for me now. The issue isn't the images wont display. The issue is that when a image is listed, some have the urls set correctly while others for some reason do not and therefore "image src unkown" is displayed instead of something like image src=https whatnot.

For example. This image is available https://kenzato.uk/booru/images/2020/6/13/AISChaF_20200613000228301.png
but the page for that image https://kenzato.uk/booru/image/dYPu3 does not show the image.
This page is an example of a image that works correctly https://kenzato.uk/booru/image/FcL60

As you can check here, https://kenzato.uk/booru/oembed/?url=https://kenzato.uk/booru/image/dYPu3&format=xml

the problem is that the url property doesn't exists. I recommend you to inspect

PHP:
    public static function fill(&$image)

At app/lib/classes/class.image.php
I am very inept rodolfo so i am not sure what i am looking at, I uploaded a fresh copy of the class.images.php from the latest chevereto download and it does not seem to have changed anything so i am assuming its not something I've changed. If there was something wrong wouldn't this cause issues with all pages and not just a few?

Any pointers towards what i should be looking for?

I don't know really, you should start by analyzing how you altered the system. It could be something silly, like a bad permission mask in these files which happens when you backup and you don't preserve permissions.

The situation is very odd, as Chevereto checks if the file is there and if that fails it displays 404. It is hard to tell exactly where could be the problem because if it doesn't show 404 is because it knows that the image is there.

It confuses me too, never run into it and i have restored backups countless times, permissions seem to be exactly the same as they always have been with nothing differing in the system either 🤣

Do you think turning on the chevereto debug thingy would show something?
