Is there not a slide show feature to add, include or benefit from?

I don't understand what you mean. The system has a slideshow viewer enabled by default.
 
and this scrolls automatically through the album of photos? can you alter the speed, add music??
 
No, you have to manually control it. And no, no music.
 
As always, new features are driven by commercial demand. If others support this idea I've no issues in add it.
