Short URLs

Nope, and as I'm concerned all the short URL thing seems to have been pass away. The web doesn't need it anymore.

I respectfully disagree. I have a 3 letter domain so it makes 'aesthetic' sense to me to go for super short URLs.

That said, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to code it myself, but it would be convenient if I didn't have to.

Hi

I think it would be a good idea so we can add another short domain name to our system which provide shorter links

Yes, "convenient", absolutely. Even ""convenient"" and """convenient""" too! 🙂

Not only for myself, but for others who would like to see the feature added.

Rodolfo is the boss, though, so if he can find no reason to prioritize short URLs, then I guess there is no need for them.

I think that this is somehow useless. I mean, I can do something like website.com/image/xyz -> website.com/i/xyz but I still can't get the benefit of this, in the year 2014. I never like to add things just to decorate the feature list so unless some good arguments are thrown I think that this is not needed.
