Return different homepage cover image for vertical and horizontal screens

CHV now uses the same image for all the devices, but it's hard to compose an image to look its best on different devices.
The pictures designed for computers are likely to be off-topic on phones.
So I would like to have this feature.

I wonder if it's possible to display based on country too? Probably too much lol. X Country has Y news so you display images related. For example Elizbeth II.
