Putting Ads

Hi, My site has got about 15000 images now and I think that it's time to start putting a few ads.
I want to put my ads on the sides of the pages, like 150x150 boxes. How can I do that? And, is there something like Payperclicks thing that really works and generates an income. I don't want a huge income, except that I want to pay the server chargers.
 
Hello thezanny, i think that 15.000 images are low to start the ads. The $ come from click and impression, how many visitors do you have on your site daily?

I can only agree with Gunz, 15 000 is not a very high number, most of your users right now, must be using your website because they are tired of webstie like imageshack.us which is full of pub...

So wait till you reach at least 50 000 images, or use very small text ads, which users don't really mind.
 
Yes DD. Not big ads . I thought of putting like $5 ads . That's alright ?
Getting something like $20 per month is enough for server chargers. Any Ad services that I can get that amount?
 
You have not provided bandwidth or unique visits per day data, but with only 15k images and, assuming, minimal unique visits you would be lucky to get maybe $1 a month from advertising.
 
Bandwidth was about 1.3 TB for March.
Visits daily is something around 130

Can you guys tell me how to put it?
