I moved my Chevereto site from Arvixe (because the server there has had problems for days) to a VPS that's running Apache. I made a full backup and restored it via WHM.

Problems:
- when uploading I get an internal server error and the upload does not process
- the rewrite doesn't seem to work properly. Pic that were posted with url do not go the pic when clicked

Thanks in advance for all help!

Hi gary,

Which issues you have with Arvixe? Maybe I can forward your case so it can be reviewed again. Regarding your questions:

1. Check the server error_log, what it says?
2. nginx needs its own rewrite rules. More here: https://chevereto.com/docs/requirements (at the bottom)

Cheers.

@gary787 May I ask what your Arvixe username is? I'd like to take a look into your account and see what may have been causing issues on the server. I'm confident in our services and hope we can find a way to resolve the issues you've been experiencing to keep you on board with Arvixe.

Finally back here after my license was suspended when I cancelled the Arvixe hosting.
It took a while to sign up again..

@greggarvixe my Arvixe user name was gary787, just as here - we were in touch by email. My issue with Arvixe was three days of server problems, too long in my book.

@Rodolfo I found the issue. It was simply that the directory where the pics are stored wasn't writable.

Thanks,
Gary
