The system provides ad slots but it doesn't handle the display of those, you will require to add custom media queries to show your ads the way you want to for every responsive breakpoint.
When it comes to HTML/CSS you must provide the live web example, there are endless combinations when it comes to how to display something in a web page, we can't just say you "remove the 13th char at line 33", it requires more handling.
