Please add Adsense revenue share options

Something like those users also earns $ from ads? Sorry for the dumb questions but I'm an ignorant in so many stuff that I don't have fear to ask.
 
I don't what is adsense revenue share and I can't imagine how it could benefit Chevereto. That's why I asked you what is this stuff in the first place.

Google reference this as how much % they pay, something immutable. https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/180195?hl=en

So I assume that revenue share is paying your users out of your adsense revenue earnings? Is that even allowed by Google? It is too little that I was able to find that I imagine that Google doesn't allow this stuff or it just doesn't yield.
 
I think anurajvr is suggesting is a function to let his users insert their own adsense code on their profilepage / album page / images.. I wonder how these user would get approved for anything like that (site owner issues)

Rodolfo, If you can add Disqus Comments API on chevereto then it is also possible, please try it. It's very useful to increase user engagement on chevereto websites..

Is quite easy to reply "+1" and not analyze the whole thing. Are you sure that it will work? Does anyone have some info on how much you can earn out of this? I mean, I want to be sure that this is going to work and that it will be used.

I ask because I don't want to add something that will take me time just to figure out that no one will use it after a month. I know that stuff gets added based on traction, but I have a filter.

Unless I get some evidence on how this thing could work, I won't add anything. Show me a real example like a website doing this, something that tells me that it will be a good use of my time not just another forgettable feature.

I didn't put +1 because it was a fancy feature. In fact I did myself suggested this feature few years back and is already accepted for next major release. There are handful of website doing this. One of which comes to mind is digitalpoint.com which has this feature since 2006. You can out your adsense ID in your profile and every one in two ads on user post will be the posters adsense code. This encouraged more users to sign up and post more content. . The site used to be leading forum with alexa rank of 168, not any more and not sure if they are doing it now.

From chevereto point, users want to know what benefit they get if they upload image to Chevereto based site rather going to Imgur. Adsense revenue sharing could be one of those which no other image hosting site offer. Also it encourage users to share the image URL driving traffic to the site instead of hotlinking and direct links.
 
Best option to implement this would be allow users put their custom code/ banner in their profile and it would appear on all images he upload just like a forum signature.

This can be done by accepting pub id and ad slot no from user and storing it, and then serving ads in some ratio as decided by owner of site to site other users leaving out the account owner.

It works if the user has an existing adsense account or when the site gets big and users can apply directly in similar lines of hosted blogs.
 
I agree with Rodolfo. you have to focus on the essential features and not waste time with useless things that will not be used by all chevereto users.
 
Not something I would personally use, if I was monetizing a Chevereto site then I'm not sure why I'd want to share revenue. I'm not convinced the potential of extra traffic/users would offset the hosting costs against the shared revenue.
 
I like the idea and actually today i logged in on this forum to create a request thread for exact this feature. Actually i didn't want to request for adsense revenue share but i want to request option for users to add atleast 2 custom banner codes in their profile and those banners will be displayed on their submitted pics only. This is a great way to increase user engagement as well as it brings more and more traffic. I saw one nsfw site which use this system its imagearn.com
