Picture Override With Alt Image

What do you guys think about replacing images that are set to expire/auto delete with a default image? For example, an image is uploaded by a guest or user and will auto delete after the set time. Once the image deletes, it's replaced by a default image...Let's say...A logo of the Image Hosting Site? If the user posted the link in a forum, the image would now show the hosting site's logo (or whatever).

Bonus - An Administrator would be able to tick this option on a user's image. If I charge a fee for my hosting site and the user stopped paying, I could tick an option to override their image with mine. Once they bring their account back into good standing...I could tick it back. No need for them to have to re-upload and edit their forum links.

Thoughts?

You should do that for ALL your deleted images and currently is easy as uncomment one line from root .htaccess file. I don't see why we need extra stuff.
