Option to Retain an Original Image File

It would be great to have an option to retain the original image file that a user uploads. Many photographers would like to provide original quality photos for their clients. The option could be account specific and available only for some paid accounts if admin so chooses. Or admin could let the user choose whether original images are kept.

edit: I din't get the RFC template when, sorry. I will post again if this is removed

Dear user, kindly check the image naming options. What you suggests already exists in the software, but only limited to an admin option:

To provide this to users should be trivial, but I feel that it will require a better sub-system to avoid collisions in the user space as DSC-XXXX is everywhere, I think that users will appreciate if the system does all what is possible to keep the "uniqueness" only for the given user collisions, not everybody using the system.
