No images is showing on "Split landing + images" display?

My Homepage Style is: Split landing + images
Yet no images is showing?

I have this disabled for several days, then turn it back on today.



/explore/recent has images showing fine.

What other options I need to set also for the images to show on that area?
It was working last few days when I tried, but I changed several admin options already.

I'll install a new devsite to compare every settings and try to revert, I hope I can track this down.

It shows recent when you pick a user id to show.
