Issue with website listing in Google

I never bothered about SEO for my site as Cheverto was already SEO optimised. However, my site listing on Google is all messed up.

If I search my sites name Gifyu on google I get Explore page first and then homepage second. Then so many unrelated websites.

I know this is a basic SEO thing I need to fix on my own. Just checking to see if you can provide some advice.

You should use Google webmaster tools to check what's going on.
 
Google.com chooses who goes first or not. That said, you can customize very few stuff. Is normal, that's how Google works.
