Hi guys,

I would like to know if there is a way to disable autoload of gif on listings as well as image view?
It is mainly due to bandwidth concerns where people are in remote areas where bandwidth costs same as gold.

Thank you for reply.
I know about autoload file restrictions based on size, but I want to disable just the gifs, and allow other formats to load without restrictions.

Yes, true.
But that way the feed won't have random auto play gifs. And some that has to be clicked. It will allow consistency.
Also, I can limit gif to least amount so that it gives the perception that gifs has to be clicked to play, no matter the size. Because while there are people who would like to be frugal about the bandwidth, there is majority who doesn't care as the world is shifting towards unlimited or godly amount of bandwidth model for internet plans where it is accessible.

The problem with gif is that it doesn't generate thumbnails. And listings load time are affected because of it as next page doesn't load until all the gif images are completely loaded.
Is it possible to disable gif autoplay in listings but allow it on image view?
