Hi guys,

i've just installed Chevereto (latest) on my Ubuntu 12.04 box with nginx. When i try to upload an image, there's an "IO Error". What could that be?

Greetings,
Dominic

In linux it could be the flash uploader, can you try to upload in a different computer? If the problem persists then it could be the HDD in your webserver.

I use a windows box to upload the images. The server is an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I could try another browser?

EDIT: Nope - Chrome, IE and Firefox aren't working...

IO errors are related to the hard disk but in some cases are related to server settings when the server blocks the flash upload process. In apache that can be fixed applying this rules to the .htaccess file (taking into account that this could mean a security leak on your server):
Code:
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off

But in nginx the workaround is this:
Code:
server {
keepalive_timeout 0;
client_max_body_size 2048m;

Now i'm able to upload images. But i can't access the admin-interface anymore.

Also he redirects me after uploading to the normal index.php

I'm an idiot - now it works. Only /admin/ doesn't work. I enter the password and nothing happens.
