Hello,

I have a problem with my Ubuntu 22.04 VPS.

When I try to execute the Prepare.sh script it returns this error :

Code:
sed: can't read /etc/needrestart/needrestart.conf: No such file or directory

I searched on the internet to solve the problem but found nothing.

How can I resolve this problem?
Thanks, and have a nice day 🙂

Solution
Change this:

Bash:
sed -i 's/#$nrconf{restart} = '"'"'i'"'"';/$nrconf{restart} = '"'"'a'"'"';/g' /etc/needrestart/needrestart.conf

To this:
Bash:
sed -i 's/#$nrconf{restart} = '"'"'i'"'"';/$nrconf{restart} = '"'"'a'"'"';/g' /etc/needrestart/needrestart.conf || true
Thanks, it worked!!
Have a nice day 🙂
