Hi,

I noticed that the search was very inaccurate on this script.
A simple example, verifiable on the demo:
If I search for the word "galaxy", I get results if I spell the word correctly. However, if I just type "galax", there are no results. And if I search for "galaxys", I get no results either. In other words, the only way to get a result is to type the exact word.
Has anyone explored a way to get broader search results?
Thanks

You can use a placeholder

Placeholder: *
My search was: Galax*

Alternatively, after clicking in the search field, you can click on the cogwheel to perform a more detailed search.

However, the wildcard character only works at the end/middle and not at the beginning.

That's right...

For the future to simplify it for your visitors you could create an RFC for the script and post it. Maybe it will be implemented soon...

Chevereto search is full-text, which is used because it is available on database layer. To enable a better search it requires libraries that likely won't be available in managed servers. Which kind of server you use to run Chevereto?
