If this gets declined or pushed further down the line I might consider it for my self. But I'd like to see everyone have a crop option on their sites

I found a JS image editor that looks very impressive, here: http://ui.toast.com/tui-image-editor/

It includes all sort of tools for image editing.

This one got some more juice, I like it. Looks like their documentation is good too
