Image compression

Hey. Was wondering, the images are uploaded as is correct... or do we do amy compression of the images when uploaded? Or do we support a compression plugin like kracken.io? Is there a roadmap for such?

Just curious as I am using kracken.io on a forum I have.

I've noticed that the modern trend on this is to use an image proxy (does image transformations, optimizations, cache and CDN). This is a better approach imo.
