Open app/routes/route.album.php

Replace this:

        $list_params = CHV\Listing::getParams(); // Use CHV magic params

With this:

        if(empty($_REQUEST['sort'])) {
            $_REQUEST['sort'] = 'date_asc';
        }
        $list_params = CHV\Listing::getParams(); // Use CHV magic params

It should look like this:
