How To Run Chevereto Without All Privileges

Is there a way to run Chevereto without all privileges? I'm on DreamHost and apparently I can't get all privileges without upgrading to a dedicated server for $150 a month which I unfortunately can't afford. I am getting an error in my setup saying "Database user "user" don't have ALL PRIVILEGES on the "chevereto" database."

If this is impossible, could a mod please contact me to help organise a refund? I am still within the ten day refund period.

Thank you!

No, you can't run it without that privilege. It really shock me that dreamhost has a cap on that regard because you get these privileges in mostly all shared servers. Talking about these $2/mo servers.

You should request a refund because the software needs that.

That really is strange. Maybe I'll have to look into an alternate hosting provider.

Could I ask where's best to request the refund? Thank you for your help!

Look in your client panel, next to your purchase it should read "request refund".

I'm having second thoughts here.

Chevereto needs a bunch of MYSQL permissions, but it doesn't require all of them and chances are that the permissions exposed by Dreamhost are enough for it.

The software itself doesn't check for these permissions, so you should be able to install it and use it anyway.

I remember that the ALL PRIVILEGES thing was needed when I tried to use mysql triggers but we don't longer use any of these.
