How to not get marked as spam mail?

How can i do like my mails does not get marked as spam. Lets say i want to reply my visitors, with a mail. The mail i send to them gets marked as spam in Hotmail and Gmail. Any way to NOT get marked as spam?

I know in hotmail you can set it so that the sender (your website contact email for example) can be marked as "not spam", and so all emails from henceforth will no longer be marked under spam. I'm fairly sure that the same applies to GMail.
