As others are not that comfortable to edit files (also with every release)...

kindly include a way to fetch home cover from a folder for example /content/images/system/default/cover/ where it scans the folder and randomly adds it (if it doesn't add much to server load)

And a way to turn on/off this in dashboard.

System includes custom hooks for php, js and css files. If you don't use those you will always have issues with your custom coding.
