Help with absolute path to image folder

How do I get absolute path to the images folder.

PHP: 
$imgurl = G\get_base_url(CHV\getSetting('upload_image_path')) . '/'  . $datepath .  'AND HERE???' . 'th.jpg'

Up to here I have this and how do I get out photo file?

Usually the context define that path, if you are listing images you will get different paths and all of them are built-in in the image array. For anything else (like your own iterator and things like that) you could use the following built-in functions:

PHP: 
G\relative_to_absolute('relative path here');
G\url_to_absolute('URL here');
