Pages will be re-made for version 3.6 so don't worry about do it yourself. But if you want to, you will need to edit the app/themes/Peafowl/views/page.php

I presume this item in release notes "Improved titles and descriptions (SEO)" 3.6 adjusts the above?

Yes, "in 3.6" means that it could be added in 3.6.1, 3.6.2, etc.
